The global leader in equestrian safety helmets and body protectors
This international riding helmet manufacturer commissioned us to produce a new brand identity, marketing material, website and packaging for its centennial year.
Not wishing to change all reference to the globally recognised identity, we decided to bring elements of the existing identity into the new design. A new brand was created that is both modern and contemporary without losing the feel of the heritage and quality associated with Charles Owen. The new design emphasises the longevity of the company and its history within the equestrian industry, expressing a more professional image that also highlights key values of safety and quality.
To portray the company’s British heritage the branding incorporates a Union Jack in the colour purple strengthening Charles Owen as a superior brand.
Once the new branding had been created we carried this across to the product packaging. The new hat box design better conveys a professional, classy and consistent brand and reflects the quality of the product that is housed within it.
We also designed stylish new adverts for Charles Owen to further enhance the new brand image.
With the new Charles Owen brand now influencing riders around the world, a new website was designed to match. A dynamic, international website was developed using CMS software and has been created to work across different cultures to demonstrate the various functions, technologies and styles of the different products. A global product and store locator was specially implemented.
